Yay! The man I have wanted to marry since I was 13 (I'm not a scary stalker Jarv, honest) is releasing a new album on 19 May. That's exactly a month away people (if you could hear me saying that, you'd hear my voice rise by increments)! The single to be released from it, 'Angela', is a stompy glam rock effort which he's been playing live for some time.
The album itself is called Further Complications and has a rather groovy cover. AND he's going on tour. Suffice to say, I will be there. This man is to me what Zac Efron is to 13 year olds the world over.
Given I've had *the* mother of migraines all weekend, this news makes things a little easier to bear. Soooo excited!
As a side note, you will see I restrained myself with the exclamation marks :-)
Oh no! So sorry to hear about the migraine, you poor thing! Your love for Jarvis Cocker is so wrong, but I'm pleased for your sake that he has a new album out.
I'm about to read your review of The Reader, and then I must add it to my lovefilm list!
