Lindsey Davis

I hail from Sandwell in the Black Country but have been living in Oxford for a whole nine years now (bloody hell). I studied English Language and Literature at Mansfield College, University of Oxford, and have never got around to leaving. For my sins I'm still kicking about the area as a fully fledged, grown-up tax payer and after an ill advised flirtation with publishing, I now work in academic development (I basically raise money for graduate scholarships, rock on! :-)).

I spend my free time listening to any music I can get my hands on; catching films at local cinemas; writing; reading, and frequenting Modern Art Oxford.

My heroes: EM Forster, Tracey Emin, Jarvis Cocker, Frida Kahlo, Tim Burton, the TTBs (they know who they are!) and my wonderful mum and dad.
